- Bicarbonate and hydrogen peroxide: the winning combination

This mixture acts as an “express descaler” . The bicarbonate acts as a mild abrasive to loosen deposits, while the hydrogen peroxide gently disinfects.
Prepare a paste with 2 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of food-grade hydrogen peroxide (maximum 3%). Apply to teeth for 2 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Use 1 to 2 times per week maximum to preserve enamel.
