When a difficult marriage leads to family drama

Sometimes, to  “save what can be saved ,” two people decide to get married despite their differences. That’s what Shannon Wilfong and Michael Chekevdia did when they learned they were going to be parents. Unfortunately, their union, far from easing tensions, ended up  exacerbating  them.

After the birth of their son, Ricky, arguments became a daily occurrence. The couple ultimately decided to divorce, each hoping for a more peaceful future. But the separation didn’t bring the peace they’d hoped for: a  bitter custody battle  ensued.

The judge awarded primary custody to Shannon, leaving Michael with visitation rights. However, instead of easing tensions, this decision  only made matters worse .

A mysterious disappearance that chills the blood

One day when she was due in court, Shannon disappeared with Ricky, as if the earth had swallowed them up. Soon, an arrest warrant was issued, and a massive investigation began. Shannon’s mother, Diane Dobbs, openly defended her daughter. Pushing the outrage to its peak, she accused Michael of violent behavior, not hesitating to post  defamatory posters around his house, in an improbable  scene  .
