In some homes, a small noise in the walls or traces of nibbling in the pantry can betray the presence of an unwanted visitor: the mouse. But do you really need to pull out all the stops to get rid of them? What if the solution was found in ingredients you already have at home? We’ll reveal an effective and natural method, without cruel traps or toxic products.
Why do mice invite themselves into your home?

Mice are little opportunists. Looking for warmth, food, and a quiet place to nest, they find our homes a truly ideal refuge . Their favorite food? Seeds, nuts, crumbs left under furniture… However, certain smells strongly repel them . That’s where our tip comes in.
Inspecting your home: the essential first step
First things first, start by playing detective. Mice can squeeze through openings the size of a 10-cent coin ! Check the bottom of doors , window frames, and cable or pipe outlets. Seal each hole with steel wool, fine mesh, or putty. Good insulation is half the battle.
Hygiene: an effective barrier against mice
A clean home means a less tempting pantry. Regularly clean floors, countertops, and under furniture. Store food in airtight glass or metal jars ( plastic bags are very easy to chew through! ). And above all, avoid leaving trash lying around.
