The final revelation: an unexpected return

The day of the auction arrives. As the prices soar, a voice rings out in the room: “One million euros!” Ryan instantly recognizes the voice. It’s his father’s. Arnold is there, hat in hand, ready to buy the figurine. He has no idea he’s been tricked.
The auctioneer’s hammer had barely fallen when the police arrived. Ryan blocked the exit, and Arnold was arrested. Confused and overwhelmed, he confessed: he faked his death to escape his debts and start a new life with Miss Perin.
A son in search of truth

Faced with this father he admired, Ryan realizes the extent of the betrayal. “A man must do what is right, not what suits him,” he tells him, repeating the words Arnold had instilled in him.
Justice will take its course. Miss Perin will soon be found. Ryan, for his part, leaves with the certainty of having defended his family’s honor. His dog, Rocky, loyal to the end, had understood everything well before anyone else .
And you ?
