Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.
Step 2: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, shredded cheddar, breadcrumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chopped onion, garlic, eggs, salt, pepper, and crumbled bacon.
Step 3: Mix until just combined. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4: Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Step 5: Remove from oven, layer the top with sliced cheddar cheese and additional cooked bacon, then return to oven for 5 more minutes until cheese is melted.
Step 6: Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat slices in the microwave or oven until warmed through. You can also freeze individual slices for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat before serving.
