Step 1 Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil, placing a wire rack on top for even cooking. /n
Step 2 Pat the chicken drumettes dry with paper towels, then toss them with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated. /n

Step 6 While the chicken cooks, combine barbecue sauce, honey, and brown sugar in a small saucepan over low heat and stir until warmed and smooth. /n
