Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
Step 2: Slice hoagie rolls in half, but don’t cut all the way through. Place them open-faced on the baking sheet.
Step 3: Spread mayonnaise on each side of the rolls. Layer ham, salami, and roast beef on the bottom half of each roll.
Step 4: Top the meat with sliced provolone cheese and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
Step 5: Close the sandwiches gently, brush the tops with olive oil, and bake for 10–12 minutes until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.
Step 6: Carefully open the sandwiches and add lettuce, red onion, and pepperoncini if using. Serve immediately while warm.
Storage Information:
Store any leftover sandwiches wrapped in foil in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes or until heated through. Avoid microwaving to keep the bread crispy.
