Baked Pears with Cranberries, Honey, Walnuts & Blue Cheese

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.

Step 2: Cut pears in half lengthwise and scoop out the cores using a spoon or melon baller. Slice a thin layer off the back of each pear half so they sit flat in the dish.

Step 3: Place the pear halves cut-side up in the prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, mix cranberries, blue cheese, walnuts, and 2 tablespoons honey.

Step 4: Spoon the mixture into the hollowed centers of each pear half. Drizzle with melted butter and a pinch of cinnamon, if using.

Step 5: Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the pears are tender and the toppings are slightly golden.

Step 6: Remove from the oven and drizzle with additional honey. Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley, if desired. Serve warm.

Storage Information

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave until warmed through. Not recommended for freezing as the texture of the pears will change.
