Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)./nStep 2: Season pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika./nStep 3: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear pork chops until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside./nStep 4: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté sliced onions until softened./nStep 5: In a baking dish, spread sauerkraut evenly and mix with onions, chicken broth, brown sugar, and caraway seeds./nStep 6: Place seared pork chops on top of the sauerkraut mixture./nStep 7: Cover with foil and bake for 30–35 minutes until pork is tender and fully cooked./nStep 8: Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes for a golden finish./nStep 9: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the oven at 325°F (160°C) covered with foil or microwave until warmed through. This dish can also be frozen for up to 2 months and reheated before serving.
