Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C)./n

Step 3: Pierce each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape./n
Step 4: Rub the potatoes with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and pepper./n
Step 5: Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet./n
Step 6: Bake for 45–60 minutes until the skins are crispy and a fork easily pierces through the center./n
Step 7: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Step 8: Slice open each potato, fluff the inside with a fork, and add butter on top./n
Step 9: Sprinkle with chopped chives if desired and serve warm.
