Instructions
Step 1: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Step 2: Add the beef pieces and season with black pepper and ginger powder.
Step 3: Cook the beef until browned and cooked through, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 4: Add the remaining vegetable oil and butter to the skillet.
Step 5: Sauté the sliced red onion and minced garlic until fragrant and softened.
Step 6: Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 7: Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir well to combine.
Step 8: Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
Step 9: Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss everything together until heated through.
Step 10: Stir in the sliced green onions and chopped cilantro.
Step 11: Serve warm directly from the skillet.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover fried rice in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Freeze cooled fried rice in freezer-safe containers for up to 2 months.
Reheat in a skillet over medium heat or in the microwave until warmed through. Add a small splash of water or soy sauce if the rice becomes dry during reheating.
