Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess grease and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Step 2: In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, and mustard to make the special sauce.
Step 3: In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the tater tots or cooked macaroni (if using) at the bottom. Spread the cooked beef mixture over the base.
Step 4: Drizzle the special sauce over the beef layer and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and diced pickles.
Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and the cheese is melted. Let cool slightly.
Step 6: Before serving, top with shredded lettuce and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for that classic Big Mac touch.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until heated through. Add fresh lettuce after reheating for the best texture.
