Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and crumbly. Sprinkle in the flour and stir to coat. Gradually pour in the milk, stirring constantly until a thick gravy forms. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.

Step 3: Place biscuit halves in the prepared baking dish, cut side down, to cover the bottom.

Step 4: Pour the sausage gravy evenly over the biscuits. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Step 5: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, 1/2 cup milk, and garlic powder. Pour over the casserole.

Step 6: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the biscuits are golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.

Storage Information

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat individual portions in the microwave or the oven at 350°F until warmed through.
