Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
Step 2: Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
Step 3: Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook for 5-7 minutes until slightly wilted.
Step 4: Add the diced tomatoes with their juices, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Step 5: Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender and flavors are well combined.
Step 6: Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop until warmed through. This dish also freezes well for up to 2 months.
