Cajun Garlic Butter Chicken Penne in Creamy Parmesan Sauce: A Bold and Creamy Comfort Dish

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the penne pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Season the chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Step 3: In the same skillet, add remaining 2 tablespoons butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 4: Reduce heat to medium. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and salt. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.

Step 5: Add cooked penne to the sauce and toss to coat. Return the chicken to the skillet and combine everything well.

Step 6: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Storage Information

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave with a splash of cream or milk to loosen the sauce. Freezing is not recommended as the cream sauce may separate upon thawing.
