Instructions:
step 1 Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat and cook the hot dogs until nicely browned and heated through.
step 2 Warm the buns slightly, either on the grill, skillet, or in the microwave.
step 3 Place a slice of cheddar cheese inside each bun and set the hot dog on top.
step 4 Sprinkle diced onions, chopped pickles or relish, and crumbled bacon evenly over each hot dog.
step 5 Drizzle with ketchup and mustard to taste.
step 6 If decorating, use sliced black olives for eyes, hair, or glasses, and secure them with a little mayonnaise if needed.
step 7 Serve hot with a side of fries or your favorite chips.

Storage and Reheating Tips:
Store any leftover hot dogs (without decorative toppings) in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on a skillet until warmed through. Avoid freezing as toppings may lose texture. Reassemble with fresh buns and toppings before serving.
