Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the cheese tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
Step 3: Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the sausage. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 4: Stir in marinara sauce and heavy cream. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 5: Add chopped spinach and stir until wilted, about 1–2 minutes.
Step 6: Gently fold in the cooked tortellini and Parmesan cheese. Stir until everything is well coated and heated through.
Step 7: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with extra Parmesan on top if desired.
Storage Information:
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave, adding a splash of cream or water if needed to loosen the sauce.
