Step 1 In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute. /n
Step 2 Drain excess grease and stir in ketchup, mustard, salt, and black pepper, then remove from heat and let cool slightly. /n
Step 3 Lay out an egg roll wrapper and place a spoonful of the beef mixture and shredded cheese in the center. /n
Step 4 Fold the sides and roll tightly, sealing the edges with beaten egg. /n
Step 5 Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C) and fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy. /n
Step 6 Remove and drain on paper towels. /n
Step 7 Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce such as ranch or burger sauce.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat in an oven or air fryer at 350°F (175°C) until crispy and heated through.
Avoid microwaving as it may make the wrappers soggy.
You can freeze uncooked egg rolls for up to 2 months and fry directly from frozen.
