Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish. /n
Step 2: Cook the tortellini according to package instructions until just al dente, then drain and set aside. /n
Step 3: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease. /n
Step 4: Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute. /n
Step 5: Pour in marinara sauce and stir in heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Simmer for 5 minutes. /n
Step 6: Add cooked tortellini to the sauce and gently toss to combine. /n
Step 7: Transfer the mixture to the baking dish. Dollop ricotta on top if using, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over the top. /n
Step 8: Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly with golden spots. /n
Step 9: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the oven at 325°F or in the microwave until warmed through. Add a splash of sauce or water if needed to keep it from drying out. This dish can also be frozen for up to 2 months; thaw overnight before reheating.
