Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook manicotti shells according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until browned. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Step 3: In a bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, and the cooked beef mixture.
Step 4: Spoon the beef and cheese filling into the manicotti shells carefully using a small spoon or piping bag.
Step 5: Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed manicotti on top and cover with the remaining sauce. Sprinkle extra mozzarella over the top.
Step 6: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 7: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot!
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through. You can also freeze the baked manicotti for up to 2 months; thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.
