Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
Step 3: Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4: Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
Step 5: Stir in the diced tomatoes and beef broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 6: Lower the heat and add in heavy cream, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
Step 7: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
Step 8: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Storage Information:
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat or in the microwave, adding a splash of broth or cream to loosen the sauce if needed.
