Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly toast the bread slices until golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 2: Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 3: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Step 4: Drizzle the cooked shrimp with lemon juice and remove from heat.
Step 5: Spread a thin layer of the cooked garlic butter mixture on each toasted bread slice.
Step 6: Top each slice with mozzarella cheese, then arrange the cooked shrimp on top.
Step 7: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over each toast.
Step 8: Bake in the preheated oven for 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 9: Garnish generously with fresh parsley and serve immediately while hot.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover Cheesy Garlic Shrimp Toasts in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. These are best enjoyed fresh, but can be gently reheated in a 350-degree oven for 5 to 7 minutes.
If you’re prepping ahead, cook the shrimp mixture and toast the bread separately, then assemble and bake just before serving for the best texture and flavor.
