Instructions
Step 1: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak pieces with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Step 2: Add steak to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 3: In the same skillet, sauté diced bell peppers (if using) for 2-3 minutes until softened.
Step 4: Warm the queso cheese sauce in a small saucepan or microwave until smooth and pourable.
Step 5: Divide the cooked rice between bowls. Top with steak bites and sautéed peppers, then drizzle generously with queso sauce.
Step 6: Garnish with chopped parsley or cilantro. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop, adding a splash of water if needed. For best texture, store queso sauce separately and drizzle fresh when serving.
