Chicken and Broccoli Pasta

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Add broccoli florets during the last 2–3 minutes of boiling. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove and slice into strips.

Step 3: In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

Step 4: Stir in the Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes, if using. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3–4 minutes.

Step 5: Add the cooked pasta, broccoli, and sliced chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly and heat through.

Step 6: Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

Storage Information

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat gently in a skillet or microwave, adding a splash of cream or milk if needed to loosen the sauce. Not recommended for freezing, as the cream sauce may separate.
