Instructions:

Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
Step 3: Fold in the shredded chicken, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, and half of the crumbled bacon.
Step 4: Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Top with a layer of frozen tater tots.
Step 5: Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
Step 6: Sprinkle the remaining cheese and bacon over the top and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 7: Garnish with chopped chives and serve hot.
