Classic Beef Lasagna

Instructions

Step 1 Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside./n
Step 2 In a large skillet, cook ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned./n
Step 3 Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant./n
Step 4 Stir in marinara sauce, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper, then simmer for 10 minutes./n
Step 5 In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, and parsley until well combined./n
Step 6 Spread a layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a baking dish, then layer noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese./n
Step 7 Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with meat sauce and a generous layer of mozzarella on top./n
Step 8 Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden./n
Step 9 Let the lasagna rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through or microwave individual portions. Lasagna can also be frozen for up to 2 months and reheated from frozen or thawed.
