Instructions
Step 1: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook your sausages until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally to achieve that beautiful caramelized exterior.
Step 2: While the sausages cook, prepare your toast by placing bread slices in the toaster and setting it to medium-golden brown.
Step 3: In the same skillet with the sausages, add butter and crack both eggs into the pan. Cook to your preference, whether sunny-side up, over easy, or over medium.
Step 4: Season the eggs generously with salt, pepper, and paprika for extra warmth and flavor.
Step 5: Once the toast pops up, butter it generously and arrange everything on a plate. Serve immediately while everything is warm and fresh.
Storage and Reheating Tips
This breakfast is best enjoyed fresh and hot right off the stove. However, leftover sausages can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Eggs are best consumed immediately and don’t store well after cooking. For a quick reheat, warm your sausages in the microwave for 30-45 seconds or in a skillet over low heat.
Toast is also best eaten fresh, but if you have leftovers, store it in an airtight container and refresh it in the toaster the next morning for optimal crispness.
