Instructions
Step 1: Preheat grill or grill pan to high heat. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and rub with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Let rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Step 2: While the grill is heating, prepare fries according to package instructions or bake at 425°F (220°C) until golden and crispy, about 20-25 minutes. Flip halfway for even crispiness.
Step 3: Grill steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (or adjust time to preferred doneness). Add fresh herbs during the last minute for extra aroma.
Step 4: Remove steaks from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This helps retain juices.
Step 5: Plate steaks with a side of crispy fries and your favorite dipping sauce. Serve immediately.
Storage Information
Store leftover steak in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet or low oven. Fries are best eaten fresh, but can be revived in an oven or air fryer to restore crispiness.
