Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 3: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until softened.
Step 4: Add the ground beef and Italian sausage, cooking until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease if necessary.
Step 5: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 6: Add the marinara sauce, tomato sauce, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and oregano. Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Step 7: In a separate bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, and parsley until smooth.
Step 8: Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Layer lasagna noodles, ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella cheese on top.
Step 9: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Step 10: Let the lasagna rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.
