Step 1 Spread a thin, even layer of mayonnaise and a small amount of Dijon mustard on one side of each toasted bread slice. /n

Step 3 Top each stack with a second slice of bread, spread side down, then spread mayonnaise mixture on the top side. /n
Step 4 Add sliced ham, Swiss cheese, tomato slices, avocado slices, and season lightly with salt and black pepper. /n
Step 5 Cover with a third slice of bread, spread side down, and gently press the sandwich together to secure the layers. /n
Step 6 Insert toothpicks into each sandwich corner, then slice diagonally into quarters to create the classic club sandwich triangles.
Storage and Reheating Tips
For best results, enjoy the Club Sandwich fresh. If needed, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Store ingredients separately if preparing in advance to prevent sogginess.
