Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
Step 3: Stir in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, black pepper, garlic powder, corn, and bacon.
Step 4: Spread the beef mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Step 5: Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the beef layer.
Step 6: Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the top.
Step 7: Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until tater tots are crispy and golden.
Step 8: Sprinkle remaining cheese over the casserole and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
