step 1 Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
step 2 In a bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
step 3 Add sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
step 4 Pour the cream cheese mixture into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top.
step 5 In another bowl, mix chopped pecans, whole pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt.
step 6 Spoon the pecan mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.
step 7 Bake for 40–45 minutes until set and lightly golden on top.
step 8 Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
step 9 Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving for best texture.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. This pie is best served chilled or at room temperature. Avoid reheating, as it may affect the creamy texture.
