Instructions
Step 1: Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Season steak strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Step 3: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak strips for 2-3 minutes per side until nicely browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 4: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 5: Stir in Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
Step 6: Reduce heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Step 7: Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
Step 8: Return the steak strips to the skillet and mix gently with the pasta. Heat through for 1-2 minutes.
Step 9: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat, adding a splash of cream or broth to loosen the sauce. Freezing is not recommended due to the cream-based sauce.
