Instructions:
Step 1: Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté chicken strips with Cajun seasoning until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Step 3: In the same skillet, add sliced sausage and cook until browned. If using shrimp, add them now and cook until pink. Remove and set aside with the chicken.
Step 4: Add bell peppers and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
Step 5: Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Add Parmesan cheese, smoked paprika, black pepper, and additional Cajun seasoning if desired.
Step 6: Let the sauce simmer for 3–5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Step 7: Return the chicken, sausage, and shrimp to the skillet. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat in the sauce.
Step 8: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Storage Information:
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave, adding a splash of cream or broth if needed to loosen the sauce.
