Instructions
Step 1: Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease if needed.
Step 3: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
Step 4: Stir in marinara sauce, beef broth, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Step 5: Add the cooked pasta shells to the sauce and stir well. Sprinkle in shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
Step 6: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot with garlic bread for the ultimate comfort meal.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stovetop or in the microwave, adding a splash of broth or cream if needed to loosen the sauce. Freezing is not recommended as the cream sauce may separate.
