Creamy Chicken Alfredo Air Fryer Calzones

Instructions:

Step 1: In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.

Step 2: Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 4 equal rectangles or circles, depending on your preference.

Step 3: Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture onto one half of each dough piece, leaving space around the edges.

Step 4: Fold the dough over to cover the filling and crimp the edges with a fork to seal. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Step 5: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray the basket with non-stick spray.

Step 6: Place the calzones in the air fryer basket in a single layer (cook in batches if necessary). Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Step 7: Let the calzones cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Storage Information:
Store any leftover calzones in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes or until warmed through. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months and reheat from frozen at 350°F for 8-10 minutes.
