Instructions
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped crab meat, celery, green onions, and parsley.
Step 2: In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream (if using), lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Step 3: Pour the dressing over the crab mixture and gently fold until everything is evenly coated.
Step 4: Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
Step 5: Garnish with extra parsley before serving. Enjoy as a salad, sandwich filling, or appetizer.
Storage Information
Store crab salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir gently before serving if any separation occurs. Not recommended for freezing due to the creamy dressing.
