Instructions
step 1 Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
step 2 In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar until smooth.
step 3 Add cottage cheese, sour cream, melted butter, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice, mixing until well combined.
step 4 In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
step 5 Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until smooth.
step 6 Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
step 7 Sprinkle crushed graham crackers or breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
step 8 Bake for 35–40 minutes until set and lightly golden on top.
step 9 Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
step 10 Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the oven at 300°F (150°C) or microwave individual portions. This dish can also be enjoyed chilled straight from the fridge.
