Step 1 In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, then mix well and form into patties.
/n Step 2 Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties until browned on both sides, then remove and set aside.
/n Step 3 In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté chopped onion until soft and lightly caramelized.
/n Step 4 Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
/n Step 5 Sprinkle flour over the onions and stir well to form a roux.
/n Step 6 Gradually whisk in beef broth, stirring until smooth.
/n Step 7 Pour in heavy cream and add thyme and paprika, then simmer until thickened.
/n Step 8 Return the patties to the skillet and spoon sauce over them.
/n Step 9 Cover and simmer for 15–20 minutes until patties are fully cooked and tender.
/n Step 10 Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat on the stovetop over low heat or in the microwave, adding a splash of broth or cream to maintain the sauce’s smooth texture.
