Instructions
step 1 Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.
step 2 Pat the chicken drumsticks dry, then rub with olive oil and season with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
step 3 Place drumsticks on the baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
step 4 Meanwhile, boil the cubed potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
step 5 Drain the potatoes and mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
step 6 Steam or boil the green beans for 4-5 minutes until just tender, then toss with butter and a pinch of salt.
step 7 Warm the brown gravy in a small saucepan over low heat.
step 8 Assemble each bowl with mashed potatoes, green beans, and baked drumsticks. Pour gravy over the mashed potatoes before serving.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store each component separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat chicken in the oven at 375°F for 10-15 minutes to keep the skin crispy. Mashed potatoes and green beans can be reheated in the microwave or on the stovetop. Stir gravy while reheating to maintain a smooth consistency.
