Instructions
Step 1: Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels, then rub them generously with olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper on all sides.
Step 2: Preheat your oven to 400°F, or heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place drumsticks in the oven or skillet and roast for 35 to 40 minutes until the skin is golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through cooking.
Step 3: While the chicken cooks, prepare the French fries according to package directions until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.
Step 4: Assemble the fresh salad by combining lettuce, chopped cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and sliced red onion in a bowl. Toss lightly and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Step 5: Arrange the cooked drumsticks, golden fries, and fresh salad on a serving plate. Place your dipping sauces in small bowls alongside the plate.
Step 6: Serve immediately while the chicken and fries are still warm and crispy. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover drumsticks in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the salad separate from the chicken and fries to prevent sogginess.
Reheat the drumsticks in a 350°F oven for about 10 minutes until warmed through and crispy again. For fries, use an air fryer or oven at 375°F for 5 minutes to restore their crispiness.
The fresh salad is best eaten fresh, but you can prepare the components ahead and toss them together just before serving for maximum crunch and flavor.
