Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
Step 2: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then place them in a bowl.
Step 3: In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, dried oregano, and chili flakes if using.
Step 4: Toss the wings with olive oil, then coat generously with the spice mixture until well covered.
Step 5: Arrange the seasoned wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
Step 6: Bake for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
Step 7: While the wings cook, cut potatoes into thick fries and toss with a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Step 8: Bake the fries on a separate sheet for 30-35 minutes until golden and tender, stirring halfway through.
Step 9: In a large bowl, combine chopped lettuce, sliced cucumber, and tomato wedges.
Step 10: Drizzle the salad with lemon juice and toss gently to combine.
Step 11: Arrange the crispy wings, fries, and fresh salad on a serving platter and enjoy immediately.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover wings and fries separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the salad in a separate container to prevent it from wilting.
Reheat the wings and fries in a 350°F oven for 10-15 minutes until warmed through and crispy again. Avoid microwaving, as this softens the coating.
The salad is best eaten fresh, but you can prepare the vegetables ahead of time and assemble just before serving with fresh lemon juice.
