Instructions
Step 1. Preheat the oven according to the fish fingers and fries package directions, typically 425°F (220°C).
Step 2. Arrange the fish fingers and crinkle-cut fries on separate baking trays.
Step 3. Lightly drizzle the fries with vegetable oil and season with salt and black pepper.
Step 4. Bake the fish fingers for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Step 5. Bake the fries for 20–25 minutes or until crisp and golden.
Step 6. Lightly butter the bread slices.
Step 7. Spread ketchup and mayonnaise, if using, on the bread.
Step 8. Place four fish fingers on two slices of bread.
Step 9. Add lettuce or pickles if desired.
Step 10. Top with the remaining bread slices and gently press together.
Step 11. Cut each sandwich in half and serve immediately with the hot crinkle-cut fries.
Step 12. Add extra ketchup on the side for dipping if desired.

Store leftover fish fingers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Keep sandwiches unassembled until ready to eat to prevent sogginess.
Reheat fish fingers in a 375°F (190°C) oven or air fryer for 5–7 minutes to restore crispness.
