Instructions
Step 1 Cut the cheese into evenly sized cubes and pat them dry with paper towels.
Step 2 Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Step 3 Dip each cheese cube into the flour, then the egg, and finally coat with the seasoned breadcrumbs.
Step 4 Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating for a thicker crust if desired.
Step 5 Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
Step 6 Fry the coated cheese pieces in batches until golden brown on all sides.
Step 7 Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Step 8 Sprinkle with fresh parsley while still warm.
Step 9 Drizzle lightly with honey if desired for a sweet-savory contrast.
Step 10 Serve immediately while hot and melty inside.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in an oven or air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes to restore crispiness. Avoid microwaving, as it can make the coating soggy.
