Instructions
Step 1: Lightly grease the crockpot with olive oil or nonstick spray. /n
Step 2: Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. /n
Step 3: Place the seasoned chicken in the crockpot and pour marinara sauce evenly over the top. /n
Step 4: Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked. /n
Step 5: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the chicken, followed by mozzarella and provolone. /n
Step 6: Cover again and cook for an additional 15–20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. /n
Step 7: Carefully remove the chicken and spoon extra sauce over the top. /n
Step 8: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over cooked spaghetti or rice.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop until warmed through. Add a splash of water or extra marinara sauce if needed to maintain moisture. This dish can also be frozen for up to 2 months; thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
