Instructions:
Step 1: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Step 2: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 2–3 minutes on each side until lightly golden. Transfer to crockpot.
Step 3: In a bowl, mix together the heavy cream, chicken broth, minced garlic, and Parmesan cheese. Pour over the chicken in the crockpot.
Step 4: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
Step 5: Stir the sauce before serving and garnish with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
Storage Information:
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave. For freezing, place cooled chicken and sauce in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight before reheating.
