Instructions
Step 1: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef (or sausage) with the diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
Step 2: Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
Step 3: Add a layer of frozen cheese ravioli, followed by a layer of meat sauce, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Step 4: Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
Step 5: Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or on HIGH for 2-3 hours, until heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 6: Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with extra Parmesan or fresh basil if desired.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed through.
