Step 1 Divide the ground beef into 3 equal portions and form into patties slightly larger than the bread slices. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. /nStep 2 Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 3–4 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove and set aside. /nStep 3 Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place 3 slices butter-side down onto a clean skillet or griddle. /nStep 4 Add a slice of cheese, then a cooked beef patty, another slice of cheese, and top with another bread slice (butter-side up). /nStep 5 Cook over medium heat until the bread is golden brown and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula. /nStep 6 Remove from heat, let rest for a minute, then slice and serve warm.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Reheat in a skillet over low heat to maintain crispiness, or in an oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through.
Avoid microwaving if possible, as it can make the bread soggy.
