Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Step 2: Split the English muffins and lay them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 3: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until fully browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat.
Step 4: Top each English muffin half with a layer of cooked sausage. Place a slice of cheddar cheese over the sausage.
Step 5: Carefully crack an egg on top of each muffin. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and yolks are cooked to your liking.
Step 7: Garnish with parsley or chives if desired, and serve warm.
Storage Information
Store leftover breakfast pizzas in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a toaster oven or microwave. For freezing, assemble the pizzas without the eggs, freeze, then add fresh eggs before baking for best results.
