Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Step 3: In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. Stir into the beef mixture until well combined.
Step 4: Spread half of the frozen French fries in the prepared baking dish. Top with the beef mixture, then sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over it.
Step 5: Layer the remaining fries on top and sprinkle with the remaining cheddar cheese.
Step 6: Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes, or until the fries are golden and crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 7: Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F to keep the fries crispy, or microwave for a quick meal.
